FAQ
How do I calculate the weight of a metal sheet?
Multiply thickness, width and length (all in mm), multiply by the density in g/cm³, then divide by 1,000,000 to get kilograms. For example, a 0.5 × 300 × 1000 mm sheet at 8.50 g/cm³ weighs 1.275 kg.
Which density should I use?
Choosing a material fills in its reference density automatically. If you do not know the grade, choose "Aluminum, Copper or Iron / steel (grade not specified)" for a general estimate; if your material is not listed, choose Custom density and enter a value in g/cm³. Results are theoretical; actual weight is confirmed at shipment.
